Your new job

A large part of the night work involves supervising clients and resolving critical situations that may arise. Night shifts at the new HVB Bruksborg mean that you will be awake alongside another colleague to provide the best possible support to the residents - ensuring safety, calming, and supporting are crucial aspects as nights can sometimes create significant anxiety for our residents. During night shifts, you will also perform some documentation and carry out practical tasks.

Your qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, caregiver, or personal assistant. If you have previously worked in addiction care and have experience with and worked with mental health issues, this is an advantage. We also see experience with night work as a benefit. You may also have another high school education, but in that case, we require that you have previously worked in addiction care and have experience and knowledge of mental health and addiction issues. As a person, you are reliable and stable, you meet people in a professional manner, and you easily create and maintain relationships. You must be proficient in Swedish in speaking, reading, and writing.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for our operations.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities in the recruitment process.

If you have worked in addiction care and have experience with and worked with mental health issues, this is an advantage. We also see experience with night work as a benefit.

Welcome to us

Bruksborg is a municipal HVB with 26 places that works with a structured operational content for men with addiction and dependency problems. Bruksborg, located in Norrahammar, offers accommodation in a safe and drug-free environment with staffing around the clock. Our operations are now seeking a residential assistant for awake night shifts.

Good to know

The recruitment concerns one (1) summer substitute position, full-time, primarily for awake night shifts, but please note that other working hours may occur as needed. You will work every other weekend. Start and end of the summer substitute position will be agreed upon. We prioritize applicants who can work a continuous period of at least 8 weeks. Our vacation periods are weeks 25-34.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

Interviews and selection will take place continuously. Before employment, an extract from the National Police Board's criminal and suspicion register must be submitted in accordance with the provisions of the law (2007:171) on background checks for such homes for care or accommodation that receive children. Please bring this unopened to an interview.
